How have the support categories for schools in Pembrokeshire changed?

Primary Schools

Pembrokeshire primary schools first improved their support category since 2014 and then their performance declined. They need on average 9.5 days support which is the most days on average for any local authorities' schools. Pembrokeshire primary schools need more support than the Welsh average. However the improvement between 2018 and 2019 was significant and it will be interesting to see whether this trend continues in 2020.

Secondary Schools

Pembrokeshire's secondary schools have seen a dramatic change since 2018 - requiring less support (13 days on average) than they did in 2018 or 2014. They are no longer in the position of needing the most support on average in Wales.
