There are Welsh medium schools all over Wales of course. And there are English medium schools everywhere too. But if you're in Monmouthshire you may have to travel to get to the Welsh medium school and if you're in Gwynedd, you'll need to be close to Bangor to go to an English medium school.
Here's the least mixed up map that we've produced. The historic centres of strength for the two languages are clear from the map. Even the historic Landsker line is visible in Pembrokeshire.
We will be looking at what influence the language medium for the school has on other aspects such as funding but for the moment, it's interesting to see how clear a border there is for language in the schools of Wales.
