Estyn Inspections of Monmouthshire Local Authority Education Services

In 2012 Estyn inspected Monmouthshire and placed the service into special measures. After that monitoring visits took place over 2014 ad 2015 and at the end of November 2015, the authority was judged to have strong progress in two areas and satisfactory progress in four others. As a result it was taken out of special measures and no longer required follow up activity.
