Last week, an Ofsted report revealed that there are 415 schools in England "stuck" in a cycle of persistently poor inspection ratings and locked in a cycle of low performance. We decided to take a look at Wales, using the Welsh support category system, to identify those schools that have been stuck on red or amber since the system was launched in 2014.
These schools aren't all in special measures but they have all required higher levels of support every year for the past five years. There are 39 in all. Here's the map.
